Special statement from ASV

ASV has sent me a statement he asked to have placed here:

I have deregistered from Atlasia and have completely locked myself out of my forum account (password changed to a random string of letters which I didn't save.).
Basically, I need to take a good break from Atlas for a while.
Firstly, to knock rummers on the head, I'm not disappearing because I'm a sock.
I'm going because I have quite a lot of personal issues at the moment, and they were starting to spill over into Atlas.
Things had already almost came to a head with Homestar a couple days ago, however on discord this morning was most certainly when it finally came to a head. Shortly after the problem on LokCord, I realised that I could not reasonably be on Atlas for the time being. I simply cannot remain on Atlas for the time being without my hotheadedness and stress further bleeding online.
I'm sorry for the abruptness of my departure, but I have always been one for sudden direct action, and it was most certainly necessary in this case to avoid it getting any worse.
I forgot to post a statement before I locked myself out, which is why I've had to do it via Lok through AAD PMs.
And yes, I'll hopefully come back in the new year once my personal life settles down a bit.
If anyone for any reason needs to contact me, or wants me to confirm that yes this is indeed my statement, PM me on AAD, as I've deleted or locked myself out of every other account you could possibly contact me on.

It's called password retrieval via email because I forgot to tie up a few loose ends.
Those loose ends are now totally tied up, and I can lock myself out again and not retrieve my password until whenever I decide to come back.

AZ made a good point. I need to stop stalling about this. Now that the Solar Exploration Act has a sponsor, all of my loose ends are tied up.
I'm going to lock myself out for good now. I'll be back by March certainly (NSW election, baby), though hopefully before then.

Marcorem/Phil Scott is not my sock. Starting off, his abject lack of grammar doesn't exactly mesh with my grammar nazi beliefs. Secondly, I'm taking a sabbatical because of the mess that is my real life situation at the moment, and the risk that the stress and anger might further bleed onto Atlas. Thirdly, I'm probably/hopefully on gone for a month, and will hopefully be back in January, Fourthly, do you seriously think if I had a sock it would be as incompetent as he has been? He's changed his registration 4 times, he's voted in 2 elections both of which he was ineligible in, he can't decide whether he's a member of the Feds or Alliance, generally he's been an incompetent fool.
Though if you do insist, the mods are more than happy to IP check both of us. You'll find 2 IPs from me, home and school (School has cracked down on VPNs yet again, and the effort it takes to get around it is increasingly absurd). Who the hell knows what marcorem's IPs are, though I'm more than happy to wager they aren't household Australian addresses.

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to reset my password to a random string of letters again. I don't want to have to retrieve it through email again because I've already stalled and procrastinated about it for a couple days. I need a proper break from atlas for at least a month, maybe more. Though I will still be lurking and watching you all, as I don't want to have to catch up on too much when I get back.
