(Footage of a campaign rally in Madison)

(StevenNick speaks to an enthusiastic audience full of bright shining faces, waving flags, and StevenNick for president signs)

Too often, we are forced to hold our noses in the voting booth and pull the lever for a candidate who doesn't really represent us, just because he or she is the lesser of two evils.

(audience boos)

Now, John Ford isn't a bad candidate.  I don't think any of us would really have to hold our noses to vote for him, but there still are some issues on which John Ford is sadly misguided.  I know that many of you disagree with Ford's views on taxes.  Some of you probably disagree with Ford on the minimum wage.  Some of you probably feel very uncomfortable with John Ford's statements about possible penalties for abortionists.

Like I said before, John Ford isn't a bad guy.  More often than not we're in perfect agreement.  But let me ask you this question--If you can't vote your conscience in a fantasy election, when can you?

Thank you all.  It's been an honor to speak to you all.  God bless you and vote StevenNick when you go to the polls this weekend and the next!

(Crowd cheers wildly as we fade to black.)

(Footage of a campaign rally in Wichita)

(StevenNick stands on a makeshift stage in the middle of a cornfield before an enthusiastic crowd of 5,000)

I'm going to quote a line from a Bob Dylan song.  Now, I know that Bob Dylan doesn't seem like the most likely of conservative prophets, but in one particular song I think he summed it all up:  "In the home of the brave, Jefferson turnin' over in his grave."

This country was founded on certain principles--life, liberty, the persuit of happiness as well as the belief that that which governs least, governs best.  How would Madison, Jefferson, Hamilton, and Adams feel about our current situation?  How would they feel about runaway spending and big deficits, a ridiculous complex and unfair tax system, and big government programs with no constitutional right to exist?

It's time we send the message that we want the government to get out of our lives!

(Wild applause)

If there's a government program that isn't doing it's job, let's end it.  (Cheers).  If there's a law that's interfering with the freedom of the people, let's repeal it.  (More Cheers).  If there's a budget deficit, let's cut it.  (By now the whole crowd is on their feet chanting "Stephen!  Stephen! Stephen!).

Thank you and God bless you all!

(Crowd cheers wildly as we fade to black)

John Ford and I differ on a number of issues.  I want to cut the welfare state.  John Ford wants to keep the welfare state just how it is.

I want to change our tax code to make it simpler, flatter, and fairer.  John Ford thinks our tax code is just fine how it is.

I want to cut useless, wasteful government by pulling funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and AMTRAK (which has never produced a profit in its history).  John Ford thinks we should keep funding both of these.

I want to fight abortion by pulling all funding for Planned Parenthood and other organizations that provide abortions.  John Ford thinks this is extreme.

Rather than debate when I challenge John Ford on these issues, he insists that my positions make me unelectable and leaves it at that.  John Ford has recently made statements implying that me (and all those who support me) are extremists who conform to a 'crackpot ideology.'  Is this really the man you want to represent you in the general election?

Vote for StevenNick.  The Only Choice.
