Musk’s behavior on that podcast is my Tuesday night. I don’t like Musk, but NASA needs to get over itself; sipping whiskey and taking a hit of weed doesn’t make you immoral or bad at your job. Plenty of successful people have done far worse than that.

NASA is paying Space X too transport their astronauts safely, having a potential pothead in charge of their lives would be very irresponsible.

2.he's not now and never would be "in charge of their lives", he just pays those people
III.even if one of the people "in charge of their lives" smokes pot on their down time, nobody would be in any additional danger
