According to Montana's Secretary of State website, the result of the 2008 election in MT at the presidential level was McCain 242763, Obama 231667. However, several other sources give the results as McCain 243882, Obama 232159. Where did these extra votes come from, and why aren't they reflected on what should be the most authoritative source for election results in that state?

Can you list the actual sources where you found the information? Thanks.
