If Walkers wins a 3rd term, then that will prove that WI have decided to not make the mistake of getting rid of their Harper

As in, Stephen Harper? What on earth is the connection there, aside from the fact that they're both conservatives? Arguably Mike Harris is the better comparison to Walker.

They are very similar

- Both won in places long known as progressive
- Both are pretty technocratic, anti-union,

Plus this

2006 CDN= 2010 WI: Harper and Walker win first time
2008 CDN = 2012 WI: Left tries to take Harper and Walker early but fail
2011 CDN = 2014 WI: Both win Huge wins which seemingly realign nation/state

This is the definition of a spurious comparison.

And didn't Harper lose his next election too?

Hofoid was wrong, yes. But he was dangerously close to being correct which is an even more frightening thought than Walker winning a third term.

I had faith Evers would win.  Walker dealt unfaithfully with schoolteachers, showing his anti-middle class nature from the get-go.  He views public education as something to be wrapped up and delivered to entrepreneurs for their benefit.

While I have deep disagreements with a great deal of public education policy in America today, I am not for gutting public schools.  Walker's education policy was a war on a Democratic Mass Constituency.  He wanted teachers to work for less, while the entrepreneurs pocketed the difference; taxpayers really wouldn't have benefited.  That's a good enough definition of a scumbag for right now, as far as I'm concerned.
