The only one of Bush's that I have seen recently was the duplicate of that Tank one but for Kerry.

Kerry's however, are pretty good.  Way above his usual.

Take a look at some of the ads.  They can be viewed online!

Bush ads - http://www.georgebush.com/KerryMediaCenter/
(scroll down to bc04 ad facts and click on one of the ads - a pop up window plays the ad and gives a list a previous ads)

Kerry ads - http://blog.johnkerry.com/dbunker/

OR

To see how the general public rates the ads go to
www.readmylipz.com (yup, with a 'z' and not an 's') and click on "view results."  One thing that took me a while to figure out is that there is this really small button that says 'start' in an empy box to the right of the graph.  Click on it and it plays the commercial and puts the graph into motion.  If you scroll down, you can pick the ad you want to see and the results of a poll of those who viewed that particular ad.  Also, you can select whether you want to see scientific results or I guess just general website visitors.  This site appears to be sponsored by a college and a research company as a public interest, non-partisan web site.  It's a little tricky at first, but I found it very interesting and it had a bunch of the ads in one place.

I honestly think the attack ads (from both sides) actually hurt the candidate who puts them out.

Now obviously I'm partisan, but I have found the Bush ads to be kinda sloppy.  Do people really want to be scared by a candidate?  That seems to be what the goal of the Bush ads is.  Vote for me or else.

The Kerry ads, on the other hand, have been decent but they need to focus on more than just his Vietnam service.  I think that part of him has pretty much been established.  Now they need to start selling his platform.

Kerry's ads are starting to get better.  That last Bush ad with the battlefield was a real killer though.  I thought it was great.

Kerry hs given up there...or he figures its a waste of time spending good money on such a small state.  I would imagine south NH is a fairly expensive media market.

I think that President Bush's ads have been good. The only Kerry one I have seen is the "life story" ad, and it wasn't too bad.

Kerry is running ads in NJ?  Is he nuts?
