"Hello! And thank you for being here today! There are many things that I would like to discuss today so we might as well get started!
First of all, I want to talk jobs. Earlier today there was new census information released to the public and it showed that Fremont has the lowest population in all of Atlasia. Why you might ask? Well it's simple. There are not enough jobs to encourage people to come to Fremont and there are not enough jobs to encourage people to stay in Fremont! If elected, I am making a pledge to bring at least 20 more people here to Fremont by creating new jobs whether it be researching the shale gas industry or simply building better infrastructure. I will bring jobs to Fremont and I will bring the population back to our region!
To go along with these newly created jobs, we just ensure that the people of Fremont are getting paid adequate wages and that is why I am officially announcing my plans for a region-wide 16 dollar per hour minimum wage. This way, even citizens that are working minimum wage jobs will be able to afford to live in our great region.
But Joey, what about those with children you may ask? Well, in order to help alleviate the stresses of having to find a babysitter for your child, I will work to implement a region-wide 10 dollar a day daycare system so that all parents in the region will be able to go to work and be reassured that their child is well looked after.
If elected to the Parliament of Fremont, I will work my hardest for all of my constituents to ensure that they get what they deserve and what they need. Thank you all and remember, don't stop thinking about tomorrow; with me it will be better than before!"
