This is way less controversial than I thought lmao.

Anyway, a short biography of sorts: X was born in 1925 in Nebraska, but he spent a lot of his childhood in Michigan and Massachusetts as his family tried to escape the KKK and other similar groups. He went on to become a Muslim and a radical black nationalist whose largest accomplishment in that regard was scaring a whole bunch of white people. However, he moderated after the Black Muslims kicked him out but was martyred shortly afterward. He has continued to be a symbol of righteous anger and manhood in the black community to this day, and may have influenced gangsta rap.
