Sorry I couldn't get this all on one screen.

Red = all Dem 1964-2016 (also includes Macon, AL which voted for unpledged electors in 1964 since LBJ was not on the ballot)

Blue = all GOP 1964-2016

Green = all GOP except voted for a right-leaning third party (G. Wallace or Perot), also Morris, KS where Bush I and Perot tied

Yellow = Clarke, MS - all GOP except for Wallace and in 1980 Dem and Repub were tied

Dem counties that are likely WWC - anyone know why these have bucked the trend:

Clatsop, OR
Deer Lodge, MT
Silver Bow, MT
St. Louis, MN
Carlton, MN
Lake, MN
Douglas, WI
Ashland, WI
Bristol, MA

Wayne, MI: all D 1932-2016
Suffolk, MA: all D 1928-2016

Any longer D streaks (must include 2016)?

Starr, TX is amazingly Democratic. Taft, in 1912, at 27.2% actually performed better than every Republican since then (except Nixon in 1972, who received 41.8%). Dem percentages have typically been in the 80s. The county is 95.7% Hispanic or Latino. Trump did do somewhat better (18.9%) here than Romney (13.0%).

These appear to be the highest populated all Repub (or Wallace) counties (did I miss any?):

Maricopa, AZ 3.8M (deceptive since 2/3 biggest Dem landslides featured an Ariz. Repub.)
Lee, FL 618K
Tulsa, OK 603K
Johnson, KS 544K
Jefferson, LA 432.6K (Wallace)
Knox, TN 432.2K
Seminole, FL 422K
Mobile, AL 412K (Wallace)
Ada, ID 392K
Sarasota, FL 379K
Hamilton, TN 336K (Wallace)
Manatee, FL 322K
Collier, FL 321 K
Davis, UT 306K
Escambia, FL 297.6K (Wallace)
Lake, FL 297.1K
Hamilton, IN 274K
St. Tammany, LA 233K (Wallace)
Benton, AR 221K
Baldwin, AL 203K (Wallace)

Most appear to be trending Democratic.

In my home state of NY, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), and New York (Manhattan) counties last went R in 1924.
