If the candidate didn't want Hillary's endorsement then she wouldn't have given it. This rabid hatred towards Hillary is fascinating. I hope someone writes a book on it in a couple decades.

There seem to be many people here and elsewhere who hold Hillary Clinton more responsible for Trump's victory than the deplorable Republicans who voted for him.
Well all she had to do was not run the most inept campaign since Dewey, but that would get in the way of the martyrdom complex many here have for Hillary

The Hillary haters and the 'not all Republicans are deplorable' types want it both ways.

On the one hand:
"it's not fair to call all Trump voters deplorable, most of them were just regular Republicans.  It's not fair to expect them to vote for Hillary Clinton or for any Democrat."

On the other hand:
"Hillary Clinton had to be an awful candidate who ran an awful campaign.  After all, even regular Republicans preferred Trump to her."

So, which is it?  Are regular Republicans as deplorable as the Trump Republicans, or were these 'regular Republican' voters never reachable for Hillary Clinton in the first place?

She won the popular vote so clearly most Americans wanted her to be President. The popular vote doesn't count unfortunately but winning the people as a whole by over 2 million votes says a lot. There are many people who respect her and that is why her endorsement is good for some candidates.

I like Stevens and Saad. Either one would satisfy me.

Actually, I think HRC unironically does a fantastic job analyzing it in What Happened.

This. If I were a Democrat, I would be running away from Hillary Clinton as far as possible. She is toxic, she is vile, and she needs to be left behind.

Looks like Haley Stevens will win.  Maybe there are still quite a few people who don't agree that Hillary Clinton should 'go away.'

(I personally preferred Tim Greimel, but Haley Stevens is a strong candidate.)  The likely Republican nominee Lena Epstein is a Trump cultist: she was his 2016 Michigan campaign co-chair.

There are only 13% of precincts reporting, and Stevens only has 28% of the vote. Calm yourself down.

Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative

After his "conversion", he claimed there was a tape of Michelle Obama saying "whitey". He's always been a right-wing asshole whether he's been serving the Republicans or Hillary.

Not every race needs to be one to "avenge" King Bernie. Someone on Twitter called Whitmer a corporate b**** because the Bernie anointed candidate lost. This foolishness needs to stop.

44% now and no real change.  I had followed the results for awhile and noticed there was no change in the overall percentages.  Also, it may have been just 13% of precincts at the time, but it was around 30,000 votes.  They obviously count the advanced vote in Michigan first as well.
