He's no spring chicken. I think we're forgetting that DeWine will be 72 on his first day in office should he win. If he gets two terms, that means he'll be 80 when he leaves. Has he been said to be in generally good health? I'm just wondering if an unexpected, sad Husted governorship may be in the cards should DeWine win.

I have no idea, but this post made me think about the rarity of Senators or Governors dying nowadays.

Jerry Brown was also 72 in 2010 and has turned 80 this April. He was treated for prostate cancer earlier in his term, but successfully. It wasn't an issue in his 2014 reelection. I think it is not wise to launch these kind of personal attacks.

I agree, a Husted governorship would be very sad.

I doubt it though--high-level politicians probably have a much longer life expectancy than the general population.

How short is he? As a short person myself, people's perceptions of short often seem fairly unreasonable to me.

He's 5"5'. One of the smallest politicians in the country if not world.

Would love to see him at a summit with Charlie Baker.

Well s***, I'm 5 foot 5 also. So I guess to me, he'd be about average...
