Quite. It's not like they haven't been the subject of speculation among political junkies

Warner and Feingold are rated as outsiders by the professionals. I dont understand why they dont have a chance. maybe they think hillary is a certainty.

paddy power is an irish/british firm so hillary will probably be a good person to back. thats why people like allen are only 20-1. people dont know him.

Quite. From the perspective of the quality British press, as far as the Democrats go it's all Hillary, Hillary, Hillary - and for an Evan Bayh advocate like myself it can be quite frustrating. Still, most folk American outside of Indiana haven't heard of Bayh let alone us Brits. It's to be expected really, that's why I'm pleased to see him in at 14-1

Republicans are now favored to win in 2008 for pretty much the first time on Tradesports--interesting sidenote.

I culd imagine a Gore vs Clinton run-off. Gore would be attacking the war, while hillary would be force to defend it. This would seem to be a bad thing but hillary has one card that the other democrats dont have and that is she is a true leader. Whatever you say about her, people do respect her as a politician. Unlike most women that run, hillary has no leadership problems in times of war.

At those odds, I'm thinking of placing a bet on Allen.

Hope they'll give similiar long odds on Warner when they eventually list him.
