there are so many things stupid about this story, it's kind of cool how much they crammed into just a few paragraphs.


as for the OP's question.  I guess $3450 is the going rate for an ex-Knicks fan, I would assume an ex-Mets fan has to be worth at least that much.  I like my teams(Blues,Cardinals,Steelers), I've been fortunate as all my teams (pro at least) have had much success in my lifetime, but I'd sell my half ass allegiances in a heart beat for half of what this guy got.  How do I get in on this?

I'm a Knicks fan and as much as they have sucked for most of the past 15 years, I will never sell out and hop on the bandwagon of another team.
