I doubt 90% of the people voting in this poll even watched it.

I watched the debate and Blackburn sounded more energetic, tying Bredesen to Chuck Schumer andNancy Pelosi on taxes, health care, gun control, border security, etc.

Sounds kind of one-trick pony-ish, don't you think? Blackburn should be able to debate the topics at hand, and not just pull a cop out every time and bring up Schumer, Pelosi, etc

It's a move aimed at portraying Bredesen as too liberal for Tennessee.

She's favored because it is Tennessee and her kind of ideology is what's prevalent there.  There are many in the state who are not to the right of Attila the Hun but its very Republican.  She'll vote 100% with the Republican leadership - she has no moderation whatsoever.  She is however well polished and is attractive in her style and she can give the standard right-wing talking points a glossy image.  If she wins, I predict she will run for President one day.  There aren't many Republican women in the Senate but she'd be by far the most conservative and I think they will look at her as a potential presidential candidate (if she wins this).

I haven't watched it but I wouldn't be surprised if Blackburn won it. I saw some videos of her in hearings etc and she seemed to be a skilled orator.

I only watched like 2 minutes of it (which is still more than anyone else who voted in this poll), but I’ll go with Blackburn. Smiley

It sounds like Blackburn is strong on Crime, the Border, 2nd Amendment, and loves the Military and our Vets.

I didn’t watch the whole thing, but from the portions I saw I would say neither candidate won a decisive victory. It was pretty much what you would expect, although based on Blackburn’s reputation as a far right nut job on this forum I expected her to come across as much less competent than she did.

It was boring.

Blackburn touted the usual Schumer/Hillary puppet lines and Bredesen continues to tell us how he will be weak and feckless and probably obstruct anything good Democrats try to do because... "bipartisanship"
