1. Obama
2. Clinton
3. Trump
4. Bush

God help Trump if we suffer through a recession like Bush had at the end. The economy is the main thing propping up his dismal approval ratings.

Yeah, Id probably agree. More.due to the fact the others were so bad rather than Obama being that good though.

This is more or less my view. Obama was in my opinion an "average" President. So was Bill Clinton. George W. Bush would have been "Average" if not for the Recession, Hurricane Katrina, and the Iraq/Afghanistan Wars, but with those, probably belongs in the "Below Average" to "Worst" category. Trump is "Below Average".

I'd put Eisenhower over Obama -- similar Presidents in temperament and effectiveness, but the difference is that JFK followed Ike, and Donald Judas Trump follows Obama.

Yeah, but I’d say that being an “average” president is a great achievment because of how impossible it is to do the right thing all the time. I’d contend that as long as a president acts a) according to a clear set of good ethics and b) following the input of those most qualified, they’re a good president. And somehow, every President apart from Obama failed at least one of those things.

For my lifetime

3. H. W. Bush
4. W. Bush
5. Trump

It's a tough call on those last two, to be fair.
