1) O'Rourke will say that this is all a horrible attack on Hispanics.
2) Nonetheless, Hispanics won't vote.
3) Cruz wins.

Maybe the race gets a little closer but I don’t think the path is there for Beto. However, this could effect key house races

It’ll probably give O’Rourke a slight bump but it probably really helps in some of the House races.

Why is everyone saying that it will be forgotten about on July 4th? I agree that it will be forgotten about at some point in time, as all important issues are, but why then? If anything it may overshadow Independence Day.

If Trump makes good on his deal to end due process for asylum seekers, etc, I could easily see this being a sustained issue.

If not, this will likely die down save another self-inflicting Trump crisis
