LBJ is a master politican and uses the Nixon/Chennault sabotage attempts in the Paris talks as leverage to swing the election towards him. The only other one who could have beaten Nixon is RFK, had he lived. A LBJ/RFK ticket would have won pretty easily.
This is the smallest win I see for LBJ, potentially he may have flipped California (was actually close) and New Jersey as well.
