NewEnglandRepublican, if you're interested in looking at the 2016 Votes by City within California, here's an awesome service that the Secretary of State provides, which is the Supplement to the Statement of the Vote, where you can find results for just about anywhere....

I haven't checked how far back their electronic package goes for this service, and you should be able to pull data for at least the past few Presidential Elections from the SoS site, but I remember as a Teenager in the late 1980s, finding hard copy data from 1980 and 1984, when I was visiting family and spent some time in the Library at the University of California Santa Cruz, and was so excited I spent hours writing them down in one of my election notebooks that I would always carry around when visiting the libraries... Smiley

It's pretty cool being able to pull comparative numbers from decades back without even having to try to amalgamate pieces from various County election sites!!!!

Percentage wise it was 60-35 Trump. Down from 68-29 Romney in 2012.

Wikipedia has results for some CA towns going back to 1964 so I imagine that data must be somewhere out there too. But seriously, heavily limousine liberal Piedmont voted for Goldwater in 1964 Tongue. Goldwater actually won a higher % of the vote there than Reagan in 1980 and 1984.
