If this isn't a fake poll or just rumors, then what I suspected might happen in the main thread is probably coming to pass. Rauner's base in the Collars isn't turning out and is picking Dem ballots to send a message to trump - in addition to some of the more R areas like inner DuPage being Ives bases. Meanwhile, the rurals are going to be at or just below average R turnout, good for Ives.

They wrote in an earlier tweet that they are in the field in Illinois solely for research and development, but the teasing nature of the tweets leads me to believe they may publish mid-afternoon tomorrow.

The pollster is real, though of dubious quality.
They had Periello up by 8 last June, and Roy Moore up by 6 just before the election.

This. Will. Be. Hilarious.

It’ll also be funny to see certain groups claim how conservatives like Ives are more electable than moderates like Rauner, when this will clearly be the correct explanation.

I'm taking this with a grain of salt. OTOH, I remember them being wrong about AL, but they weren't SUPER wrong. Any win under 10 (maybe even 20...) points would be incredibly embarrassing for Rauner. He's running against a batsh**t crazy person.

I will be very surprised if Rauner doesn't win.

At least they (kind of) got the Dem side right.
