How do you expect future advances (or current tech that hasn't become widespread yet) to impact our daily lives?

I'm thinking particularly about household items and chores:

 * refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, laundry washers/dryers, microwaves, toasters, kitchen tools, silverware, plates/bowls
 * toilets, showers, baths, sinks
 * beds, furniture, blankets, pillows
 * home heating/cooling & plumbing & electric systems
 * toothbrushes, brushes, hair-dryers, nail clippers, soap, shampoo, deodorant, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, shaving materials
 * changing wallpaper/paint, carpets, better windows & doors
 * sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, ironing clothes, wiping counters/mirrors/glass, polishing, removing trash/recycling, sink garbage disposing, rearranging furniture, air freshening, dehumidifying/humidifying
 * yard work, raking leaves, removing snow from driveways/sidewalks, picking up after the dog, lawn/tree/shrub/garden maintenance
 * automobile maintenance
 * grocery/misc. shopping, pharmacy pickup, doctor's visits
 * television/computer/phone monitors & interface, internet/cable bills
 * ...etc... (did I miss anything)

1. How could/should/will they be Upgraded?

2. How about which could/should/will be Replaced?

3. What New Things will be Invented to help make the little things in our daily lives more efficient?

 (for example: How close to people think we are to a "Smart House" or "Robot Maids" to take care of most of the above? Or maybe dishwashers and laundry-washing-machines that use delicate vibration instead of soap and water to clean?)

I suspect robotic vacuums like Roomba may gradually replace manual vacuum units.  Wouldn't be surprised if grocery delivery becomes a big thing and house calls make a comeback with doctors.  Other than that, I don't know how much will change, and probably not nearly as many things as you listed.
