What is your opinion of gated communities in America? Gated communities are popular among wealthy Americans, upper-middle class and some lower-middle class retirees in AZ, FL, NC, VA, PA, NJ, NY.

True. However, isn't there some rules you have abide by? They have homeowner commissions that have strict rules.

Mostly bad, they're relatively cheap construction, they're also very bland looking houses too, way too standardized, usually filled by awful people who think you're coming to kill and burgle them if you're younger than middle aged.

Only existed because of the rise of crime in the 1980s, should be abolished because crime is much lower today.

If you think you need a guard to protect you from the riff raff, maybe you really need a guard to protect the riff raff from you.

What about some people who want to still live in safety?
