I don't understand what people are so scared of, North Korea's ballistic missiles cant hit the United States, and even if they could they would never use them.

Yes, but there's a common misperception of North Korea as some very powerful, aggressive nation, like from that terrible Red Dawn remake (ftr, the original was crap too).

On the other hand, the world seriously underestimated the advancement North Koreans made in nuclear and missile technology. We've been told over and over again they at most have a couple of low yield, crappy warheads.

I'm pretty sure North Korea will have a capability to deliver, but I agree they are never going to use them, at least for a first strike. We can say a lot about the regime, but they are not suicidal. To the contrary.

There's somne danger to the North Korean nuclear program, though: trading nuclear and missile technology. For example Pakistan owes their development of missile technology to North Korean assistance.

None on Oahu.  I can't imagine any survivalist nutcases who would stock a bomb shelter for that long wanting to be near Pearl Harbor. If we ever do have WWIII, it'll be a prime target no matter who we face.
