According to ProgCan, these two photos will immediately cause every West Virginian to vote for Paula Jean Sweatergain because he isn't progressive enough.

That is a great political analysis by someone who doesn't even live in the U.S. and has likely never set foot in West Virginia.

Manchin didn't flip flop at all, he just agreed to pose with two different people holding conflicting signs. his voting record is pro-life.
Nice spin. Joe Manchin might not lose but my god people on here are underestimating his vulnerability.

You overestimate Sanders' electability, but that's none of my business...

I'm from Eastern Kentucky and my best friend lives in West Virginia, and I've spent a lot of time in WV. If Manchin had flip-flopped on Planned Parenthood, it honestly wouldn't matter at all. He's always voted pro-life (he voted for banning abortions after 20 weeks during the January vote), he attends pro-life rallies and events (he was at this year's March for Life), and this has never been an issue for West Virginia voters.

He's definitely favored. He's such a "name," you know? He's not a lock, of course, but I think his odds (at least at this moment) are a little better than some on here are acting. Literally everyone knows Joe Manchin. But it all boils down to who wins the Republican primary.

Sounds right, thanks.

Considering West Virginia voted for someone who regularly flip-flops multiple times a day by 42%, I don't think this will do Manchin in.
