I'm introducing a resolution to remove Gohmert from the United States.

I expect you'd get a lot of co-sponsors.

This iteration of the Republican Party should be removed from existence.

Can we file obstruction of justice charges against the Republican Party as a whole?

Matt Gaetz is the breakout star of this Congress. I'm very happy to have played a very small part in his campaign.

Certainly the members supporting this resolution are attempting to do so. Whether they can or will be so charged is another matter.

If Mueller is removed, how will that look like anything but an attempt at obstruction?

Something like a mobster trying to get a rackets-busting DA sacked.

Should Republicans pull off this stunt, then they may show that they are themselves deep in the same corruption as the President and his coterie are suspected of being.

This is the sort of behavior that precedes military coups.

I don't think this resolution will go anywhere, not unless the Republicans deliberately attempt to commmit political seppuku.

According to that Washington Post-NBC News poll from earlier this week, 58% approve of Mueller's handling of the investigation, while 28% disapprove. Only 28% believed that the legal wrongdoings in the Trump campaign were limited to just Manafort, Gates, and Papadopoulos, while 53% assumed that broader wrongdoing has occurred.

That being said, every generation needs their Earl Landgrebe.
