Would you want or desire to become a sports franchise owner? Lots of powerful names in business have risen to that occasion. The late George Steinbrenner, owner of the New York Yankees, Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks.

I always want to know if some of them truly enjoy it. I don't think some owners like James Dolan and Woody Johnson do, maybe that's why Johnson gave the team to his son so he can be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

If I had a lot of money and I didn't know what to do with it I'd probably enjoy owning a baseball team (ideally the Atlanta Braves). But of course I'd never have that much money so this point is moot.

If I had a couple billion floating around, and a pathological need to spend it, the first thing I'd do is buy the New York Mets.

Getting paid obscene amounts of money to do absolutely nothing of value is the true American Dream.
