I'd consider putting McDonnell in sixth, Gilmore in fourth, and Allen in fifth, though. I don't know enough about his legal problems to really know for sure, though.

Warner's a close second. Kaine was decent, but I like him better as a Senator. I have no opinion of Wilder or Jim Gilmore even. Now that I'm writing this post, I'm remembering how completely garbage McDonnell was on abortion, education, and voting rights. I just voted Allen out of instinct.

He's frankly an embarrassment as a Senator, but there's little contesting that Warner was a fantastic governor.

As far as bad goes, it's just as hard to contest that George Allen is pretty awful politically and as a person.
