According to people whom kennedy confided in, he reportedly said he would never run with lyndon again, but that a new running mate could be north carolina's terry sandford. What would it look like? use maps as well

That's a dispelled rumor, he still needed LBJ for The South.

Terry Sanford is from North Carolina.
