I think Nikki Haley, Mitch Daniels, Susanna Martinez, Condoleezza Rice, Carly Fiorina, and Marco Rubio are the only people any of them would pick to run with.

The entire state and dynamics of the race changed the second Trump became 1 in the polls, so it's hard to say. For example, your point about Cruz selecting Fiorina makes sense.

So I am going to assume 2016 would have been a typical election year with no Trump.

Jeb Bush - either Martinez (appeal to Latinos/women) or Haley (appeal to minorities/women)

Marco Rubio - either Haley, Fiorina or Kasich (that Florida/Ohio combo)

John Kasich - either Rubio or Haley

Cruz - Fiorina or someone else, hard to tell
