I would say nobody is forcing you to read the threads.

Don't you think it's odd to criticize people on a political message board for discussing the President of the United States since he has an outsized impact on American politics? This is of course a major political scandal and most of us political junkies are interested in the ins and outs of it.

If the President was Hillary Clinton and this happened, I assume a lot of anti-Clinton conservatives would be posting nonstop about it. I'm sure you focused on a lot of Obama stories, and a lot of Republicans were equally interested in the Obama Administration.

And why would their bosses care? Most don't, most likely.

I am all about getting down to the bottom of important probes like this. All things considered, Sanders' statement sounds very even-handed and fair. I think we will all ultimately be happier when it is over with, even if the consequences may be explosive for our politics. There is no reason to be afraid of the truth, unless like Trump you have small hands and something to hide.

At this point, whether or not Trump criminally colluded with Russia is secondary. He broke the law trying to stop the investigation of whether he did or did not.

The ONLY relevant question at this point is whether the Republican party has the moral character and strength of will to boot the deplorable crook out of the White House as soon as possible. If they don't, it will doom at least the GOP, and probably the United States.
