In the "only in Florida" department, a Sebring woman allowed her one-year old daughter to play with and be bitten by a red rat snake to "introduce" the baby girl to snakes and teach her a lesson.

She claims that these snakes have bitten her and her son before, with no one getting hurt, and that people "are too sensitive". The Highland County Sherriff's office is investigating.
