Most likely not, unless Trump's first term is an absolute DISASTER and his approval ratings are under 30%.

He will, but he won't get anywhere.  He'll do half as well as Ted Kennedy did against Carter in 1980.  At best.

Kasich may not win the primaries (during which he might win his home state of Ohio and probably Utah, one of the most anti-Trump red states), but he will contribute to Donald Trump's loss on Election Day 2020 since every incumbent President who got primary challenge in their own party in recent history lost re-election.

I'm starting to lean towards yes after how much of a disaster it's looking to be. I imagine it'll be something like Ford v. Reagan where the incumbent faces a strong primary challenge but pulls out in the end.

No, Johnny is done, although I like him. Maybe he has a shot for the senate next year, but he doesn't seem interested that much.

With his tumble in esteem among Ohio republicans, I doubt he wins a GOP primary for anything in that state
