Does the Reform Party do better than in 2012 or is the third party vote split by the "major" third parties (Greens/Libertarians/Constitution/McMullin) this year?

Which of the socialist candidates will come out on top- Gloria la Riva, or Mimi Soltysik?

Does the American Solidarity Party break out and beat, say, the Veterans Party?

How well does Zoltan Istvan do?

The Reform Party will do better than last time, mostly because some Hispanics will vote for the Hispanic surname. It will still struggle to get 10k votes and nowhere near the majors.

la Riva will beat Soltysik easily. She's on the ballot in far more states. Additionally, unrepentant pro-North Korea Marxist-Leninists are now a semi-prominent movement online and have much more exposure than whatever sort of non-authoritarian non-sectarian line Soltysik is advocating.

Gloria la Riva is a tankie? That's disappointing

You didn't know that? She was several times the candidate of the Workers' World Party, who were the original tankies. They literally formed when they split from the SWP to support the Soviet invasion of Hungary. She split from them and started the PSL, but it wasn't over ideological differences.

I haven't actually studied the various American socialist/radical leftist parties in detail. I mostly recall her as an antiwar socialist. Looks like she lost to another socialist in 2008.

Am I missing any other micro third parties in the OP?

The Nutrition Party! They're running Rod Silva. I know he's on the ballot in CO for sure.

Missing lots of third parties. Hardly any worth mentioning though.

Yeah, I meant third parties worth mentioning, at least for amusement.

I hope Maturen does well. I really would like to see the ASP get somewhere.

I might be biased, but as far as brand-new third parties go the ASP does seem to have fairly decent social media presence and grassroots growth. Not being a vehicle for a one-note fringe personality helps.

As would I. My wife and I voted for the ASP, but it won't be counted beyond as a "write-in."

So "Heartquake '08" isn't on any ballots this time around? Lame.

The ASP definitely has potential. I think a lot of Christians are in line with its platform.

"Heartquake" sounds like the name of a severe medical condition.
