For those who have not heard about it yet......sitting Senator Kirk from Ill has questioned the military history of opponent Tammy Duckworth's parents/ancestors cause of the immigration background of her mother. (Most professional commentators agree he is still suffering from the consequences of a stroke and has got problems with fast thinking right now.)
