He's a vote for a Democratic Senate Majority Leader, but his political strategy is generally one of mindlessly attacking Democratic legislation to show his independence  and thereby providing Republican cover for evidence of Republican 'bipartisanship.'   I personally don't care if he wins or loses.

I want him to win purely so that Mitch McConnell has to wait two years before becoming Majority Leader again. I reckon Bayh will most likely quit in 2022

Don't forget that it will make it harder for McConnell to be majority leader after four years.
