According to the little tool you posted, 87% of my demographic voted, and 59% of them voted for the Democrat.
In reality, my demographic is unique. Its one unique individual voted, and 100% of that vote went to Romney, not because it particularly thought Romney had any chance of wining, or even because it thought Romney would make a good president, but precisely because it wanted to make a protest vote against Obama, for whom the same one-person demographic had supported 100% four years prior, not only in the general election but in the primary as well.
As much as I loathe identity politics, I have to say that giving a pseudo-scientific legitimacy to the phenomenon of identity politics is a new low. I can't say I respect this endeavor to any degree. It's an interesting diversion, of course, but I'd suggest that you try not to take it for anything more than what it is: a fancy, new-age parlor game. Let's plug some data into an algorithm and see who is the coolest person in the room.
