I know I have talked about this but last night was a magic show, with lots of misdirection. He did 'soften' and 'pivot' but most people Hillary hack only didn't even notice due to all his talk about how the country is crawling with criminal aliens out to kill us all. He even duped people like Ann Coulter who didn't even notice how he doesn't want to deport everyone anymore and how he even left the door open for future legalization. Again he has essentially adopted a kind of hybrid of Ted Cruz' "we will deal with the undocumented later" and Romney's "self-deportation".
Why is it so difficult? His politics has softened, but he still sends a powerfull message. Not politically correct message.
That's what Seriously? was talking about yesterday> Trump was concentrating on criminal illegals in his speech. It is exactly what voters want, I think. Ann Coulter loved it. Me loved it.
It is like The Wall. Both Cruz and Rubio "wanted" it. Even poor Jeb! Bush. But Trumps tone/rhetoric was better/tougher. Not politically correct.
