D, not as bad as night 1, but still not good.  Donald Jr was good though, only decent speaker of the night.

Felt like America had devolved into a 3rd world country watching it

I fully aspect the same posters in this thread next week to give every night of the DNC an A+.

Why make a thread such as this when the level of hackery is so over the top this year?
To reinforce the hackery, of course.

It's not like I expect socialists to get free market capitalism. Much like I won't understand much of their little show next week. Nor will I waste my time watching it. Or grading their effort an "F" because I can.

IT wasn't 'as bad' at last night.
Still an F though, maybe if they spent more time actually promoting their candidate rather than just attacking Hillary, the grade MIGHT have improved, but not likely.

Voted B, but more like B-/C+.  Much better than last night, which I gave a D for because of the Melania situation.

This was not a GREAT night. The theme was supposed to be 'make America work again'   Nobody talked about any specifics re: trump and his economic policies. They didn't even attack Hillary on economic grounds.
It was mostly just a rehash of night 1 'lets scare everyone' theme, except the speakers were higher in profile, the business work of the convention during the day created good storylines rather than bad (ROLL-CALL VOTE!!!!!)

I won't argue that the GOP needed to do some rally the troops work after this primary, and Hillary Clinton is certainly a great way to get everyone focused on the same target, but if the next 2 days don't actually present some substance re: the republican economic views, and highlight why Donald trump has the skills to do the job, the convention as a whole will be a failure.  A D+ at best.

There is still time left to put in some content that can expand the party and jumpstart a moribund fundraising effort, but I am starting to get concerned that this convention will never be able to move beyond "We hate Hillary, let us count the reasons why"

And Donald Jr. was the biggest overperformer so far. Home run.

What? His point was that a poll like this is a futile exercise - an objective opinion is pretty much impossible because no matter what the opposing party will grade it poorly anyway. I fully expect the DNC to have its fair share of "no never again Clinton die I give this an F" from the more hackish Republicans around here.
