I think the invention of the "low-energy" Trumpism is one of the brighter spots of his campaign.  Before that, there was never a term that could so adequately describe boring lightweights like John McCain, Pat Roberts, Tim Kaine, etc.  Hopefully it remains a common term of use after Trump loses; losing it would be Sad!

("Cuck" is also appropriate in some situations imo)

Disgusting, Sad! and Not good! were critical pieces of my vocabulary before the campaign. I think that's a regional thing and helped draw me to him. Low-energy is now being used by supporters and detractors

I will say that I do use terrific a bit more, but it's probably marginal. Lavenous has jumped far faster - use that 5-10 times a day

How?  I could never envisioning myself saying that word out loud in any circumstances, ever. Tongue

Yes, one good thing Trump did this election (besides providing endless entertainment and destroying the GOP) is introducing "low energy" into the political lexicon.

Basically when referring to those (i.e. most Democratic politicians in midterm elections) who shy away from causes they support to appear "reasonable" and "moderate" (even when they're neither) and end up getting their asses kicked anyway.  (see: Mark Udall, Kay Hagan, Andrew Cuomo)

This must be a regional thing, because I don't typically hear people talk like that.

Yikes, glad I don't live on the East Coast.

I do think that people in the Northeast already talked more like that anyway, and that's a good chunk of the Trump supporters here on Atlas.  I don't think I adopt most of the Trumpisms with the exception of "Sad!" but even though I will definitely vote for Trump in November, I'm not a hyper-devoted supporter, more that I just want to see the Democrats lose.
No we don't.

This should pretty much sum up my feelings about that ridiculous word:
