Trump doesn't know how to run a campaign, so he is spending money on Draper Sterling and Mar-a-Lago instead of things that actually matter, like campaign staff. Sad!

This election isn't going to be close.

It's going to be hilarious when this guy accepts public funds and then uses half of it to retire his debt to himself.

He didn't accept public funds for the primary, so he cannot use general election public funds to retire the debt. He has to raise that, or it's gone.

If the Trumpster doesn’t understand how to run, organize and fund a presidential campaign, how will he know to govern the most powerful country in the world?

He has so little cash on hand while he claims that his campaign will target large Democratic states such as New York and California, which have expensive media markets.

I think the disadvantage here might be overstated a bit.  Trump was outspent and had poor organization in the primary too, and he still won pretty easily.  With name recognition as high as Trump and Hillary, I'm not sure how much people need to see ads to make their decisions.  I'm not saying it won't matter, but I don't think it matters as much as people think it does.

I read that Sanders raised more money in 48 hours from "Birdie Sanders" stickers than Trump raised the entire month of May. Sad!

Will Trump be able to use free media access to compensate for the lack in funds?

Not really. He can't localize the content, nor can he really control it beyond a basic topic. He's been generating such attention by being controversial and lately that has been harming him quite a bit. He has lagged behind Clinton in the vast, vast majority of polls, and many times by large margins, so clearly it isn't a viable strategy for the general election.

He needs to raise a lot of money in a very short period of time now, or else he's going to sink not only his campaign but the GOP as well. Bigly!

Well, that, actually, is less stupid than it sounds. If he is to fundraise, he would have to be doing that in NY and CA in any case. And while there, he might, as well, campaign.

Money doesn't buy elections, as evidenced by Obama being vastly outspent in 2012... But it sure as hell helps

Obama raised more and spent about the same as Romney in 2012.

Trump doesn't need money, as evidenced by the primary campaign. All he needs is media and he can hypothetically keep the race close.

I agree to an extent - But Trump held wide wide leads in the Republican primaries and underperformed his polling in nearly every state because of his significant disadvantages in organization and last minute voters turning away from him.

Not to mention that his opponents sucked hard.

but but but democrats are fiscally irresponsible! Trump's gonna balance the budget! 100 million trillion dollars in debt doesn't lie folks!!!!

You'd think Dubya's presidency would've ended the myth about Republicans being the "fiscally responsible" party.

He thinks he won't need more, and if he does, that the RNC will save him.

Mostly this. The RNC needs to come to the table and is tentatively planning on it with a two-fold strategy of emphasizing down-ballot races and "HILLLARY!!!!!"
