He has proposed censoring the internet and literally said that anyone who cares about the First Amendment is stupid.

He has proposed a religious test for entry into the country.

He has proposed gutting the 14th Amendment's birthright citizenship clause.

He has expressed a total disregard for the due process rights of those who have already obtained citizenship by virtue of being born in the United States. People forget about this big one from way back at the beginning of his campaign: he would deport people who are already U.S. citizens. Even if you agree with Trump's interpretation of the birthright citizenship clause you're not allowed to do that.

Unless Trump starts proposing to dismantle Congress and the Supreme Court, I think the Constitution would be just fine under a Trump administration.

I'm not sure he or many of his supporters can read.

So, in other words the best hope is that he won't do anything that he wants?

It's pretty easy for a president to do tons of illegal stuff without changing the constitution if he doesn't respect it. Just look at Nixon.

The only thing Donald Trump respects is Donald Trump.

That wasn't the question. The question was whether Trump respects the Constitution, and clearly he couldn't care less about it.

Things are going to happen to him that have never happened to any predecessor if he's elected.

Trump respects nothing but himself.

I would love to see someone ask him about sections of the constitution. Basically guaranteed he would go on some rant that's completely unrelated.

You don't have to look that far back; just look at Obama, GW, et. al. and their myriad of "Executive Orders", support for which I can find nowhere in the Constitution.
