1. Clinton is already linked to FBI investigation,  perhaps Trump will turn out Putin's spy.
2. Both candidates are elderly and are  sure to suffer from chronic diseases.  Some disease attack/stroke/seizure  may happen.
3. Both are very unpopular, actually hated by millions of US residents. Bobby Kennedy was much more popular to be assasinated during presidential campaign. The probability for a new Sirhan Sirhan to appear is much higher taking into account growth of Muslim population.
4. Harth alredy sued Trump, alleging sexual misbehavior  http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/04/donald-trump-scandals/474726/.

So the following variants are possible.
1. Trump vs Someone else
2. Clinton vs Someone else
3. Someone else vs Someone else

Sure,  the most  likely  variant is Clinton vs Trump, but it is not considered here.

This comment shows how split the American society is. I listed this as a probability, and I would never wish anyone to be assasinated.

Indictment a possibility for either, really. Assassination is a problem for Trump.
