True. Gov. Perry would be destroyed in a general election. He is an executive though.

Well, when I said "never Trump", I meant what I said.

There will be a significant contingent of conservatives who will not support Trump. Let's hope there is a protest candidate who is acceptable so their voice can be heard and they don't just stay home and ruin their downballot candidates.

Guys, I found the main problem facing the Republican Party right here. I guess I'm not a Republican according to JCL since I don't want to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I am in the same boat as JCL.  But, I want to wait and see whether or not Trump is really pro-life.  He did make a huge pro-life hire today.

I would have thought more Republicans understood the concept of settled law.
