I think he's spot on, and I wish the other candidates would pick up on what he's said. Thoughts?

The work permit process needs changes, but simply allowing all non-criminals who show up to get one is going way too far. It is undesirable for any country to have such a liberal immigration policy for unskilled immigrants. Work permits for all would be incredibly socially destructive. I prefer to end chain migration, expand TN, crack down on H-1B abuse, fix guest worker programs, and tighten quotas on Indian/Chinese/Filipino immigrants who are currently clogging the system.

Yes, his policy does seem to be a bit too liberal, but I do think that having an easy to obtain work visa would help a great deal in preventing criminals from entering the country. I can't believe how broken the system is at this point, and honestly, the logistics of removing the 11 million people that are here illegally looks to be a nightmare.

That sure was a lot of words to say that he supports open borders. It's almost like he wants to hide the fact that he supports open borders.

Making work visas easier to get is fine, but I'd still have all those who illegally entered deported.
