Agreed.  Even many of Liberal Senators have said that Scalia is the best of who they identify as the five (or six, who knows, they think CNN is conservative for Christ's sake) conservative justices.  Most said that he would be the most accpetable choice for a future Chief Justice and would pass filibuster in such a situation.

You might not like Scalia, but he does know what he is talking about.

The only justices I really like, interestingly enough, are Rehnquist and Thomas. The other seven justices should be in Congress, not the Court. Tongue

You're right. I need to stop talking to people who complain about a justice's opinions by citing a case in which he did not write an opinion.
