(4 vote Dem, 4 vote GOP)

President King was elected and re-elected with great numbers, but now his approval rating is at a pity 36-44%. Though many people favor the desegregation of America, they hate his war in Vietnam. So far, 30,000 U.S troops were killed in Vietnam due to President King's poor management, and willing to get in to the crisis. Vice President Kennedy, Dean Rusk, and Abraham Ribcoff favor the war, the rest of the Democratic field doesn't. Donald Rumsfeld, Pat Robertson and John Connally are for the war. After a devastating loss in 1972, can the GOP take the White House. And keep it?

Why is Dean Rusk running? He barely managed to be Secretary of State

He is running as a pro war candidate, though Kennedy is pro war he wants to build a mostly white, southern coalition.

Kennedy, McCarthy, Bayh, Gravel
Normally I'd vote McGovern but I'd like to see a new face.

The Democrats have to go through a brokered convention, the Republicans have nominated Pete McCloskey.
