Will Trump be more and more successful due to the bandwagon effect, that is people like to vote for the winner?

Bandwagon can't really explain what's going on. On the GOP side, people have been told that Trump should be avoided. On the Dem side, people have been told that Clinton is inevitable. This time around, voters are thumbing their collective noses at conventional wisdom. Perhaps there's a little bit of the bandwagon effect, but it's definitely not the main motivating factor here.
