Is the Kasich surge comparable to the Rubio surge in Iowa?

According to the early exit polls, only 26% of the voters in the Republican primary describe themselves as moderate (24%) or liberal (2%). Kasich would want that number to be much higher. Even more, 29%, called themselves very conservative. The vast majority (way more than 60%) called themselves Republican, not undeclared. An almost shockingly high number. In 2014, 47% in the Republican primary were undeclared. Sounds like Cruz might have a suprisingly strong night if these numbers keep holding up until closing number. So could Rubio.
