Do you think that Hillary Clinton 2016 looks like Barack Obama 2008? And about Bernie Sanders 2016 and Hillary Clinton 2008?

Bernie Sanders, like Hillary 2008, is trying to bring back the old working class party. Besides, he has the most social democratic healthcare plan.
Hillary Clinton, like Obama 2008, is supported by the minorities and receive good coverage of the corporate media.

Do you think Hillary will win many states carried by Obama in 2008 (Iowa one of them?)? Do you think Bernie will win many states carried by Hillary in 2008 (New Hampshire one of them?)?

Hillary and Obama both have a southern firewall of sorts.

Clinton 2016 = Clinton 2008 + African Americans
Sanders 2016 = Obama 2008 - African Americans

There are also some regional differences.  Obama '08 was stronger in Iowa because Illinois borders it.  Sanders '16 is stronger in New Hampshire because Vermont borders it.  The electorate itself is somewhat different as well.  There are fewer moderate and conservative Democrats, but more minorities and liberal whites.

I think a major folly of the media is to try to draw way too many parallels between races that take place in totally different climates.

Bernie is doing much better than Obama with certain demographics, and the state of NH.

Comparing election years (especially in primaries) is pretty useless.

The gender gap among whites also seems much bigger this time.
