I voted for Ernest mainly because he's not voting and it would be kind of silly to give the title to someone who doesn't even care.

Then again, I suppose Dazzleman is in that boat as well, so I'll vote for him next time.

I care, it just is that I was hoping I could stay under the radar a little longer.

Hmm, as Ernest does indeed care, and just to make this a squeaker, as those are the most fun, I change my vote from Ernest to dazzleman.

I've been trying to stay under the radar, like Ernest, but I've obviously failed. Smiley

In any case, by the time I got home from work and logged on, the decision was usually made, and my vote wouldn't have changed the outcome either way.  I could either cast a wasted vote or join a bandwagon.  I have been closely watching the outcome.

Just to make things interesting, I am going to vote for myself.  I am leaving on a vacation tomorrow for over a week, and I'm sure I'll get voted off during that time in any case, if not tonight.

I am very pleased to have lasted this long, and made it into the "Sweet 16."  Thanks to everybody who helped me to get this far.

No problem, man.  As you can see, I voted for myself because I won't be around for the next week as the game moves toward its climax.  I have nothing against Ernest in any case, and didn't want to vote against him just to save myself under these circumstances.

I am actually pretty flattered that so few people voted to throw me off the island until there were so few choices left.  There are a couple of people who followed a pattern similar to the one they employed in presidential survivor in voting against me repeatedly, but very few.

I'll be interested to see who the eventual winner is.  I don't think it would have been me in any case.

Why vote yourself off? We can save you! You were one of my closest allies, dazzleman. A loyal friend who was always there to help me out in very close votes and even in not so very close votes. In fact, if it came down to me vs. you in the Finals, I wouldn't be able to say that I deserved to win.

I cast a tie breaking vote for Dazzleman. He said he would not be around for a few weeks and he voted for himself anyway. So Dazzleman, you must now leave this fair island.

Thanks so much for your offer of help, Keystone.  I really appreciate it.  But since I can't be here for one of the most crucial weeks, I don't think it's fair for me to hang on at this point.  I'm sure you could have saved me today, but what about tomorrow, and the day after that.  Without being here during this crucial time, I don't think I have a right to ask that of people, and each round would get successively tougher.

Had I been able to be here, I would have fought to the end.  But other things take precedence over this now, and I think it's only fair that I step aside at this point.  Thanks again for your support.

I bid a fond farewell to the island, and when I get back in a little over a week, I will resume my participation in the game.
