The Governor has appointed Chief Judicial Officer Cinyc for another term in the position.

Governor Blair, you have 48 hours to advocate for your appointment. An additional 24 hours will be given for debate after that. If the Assembly feels a formal hearing is necessary, I will invite CJO Cinyc to our chambers.

I am honored to be reappointed to the CJO's post and will continue to serve as I have - faithfully executing the laws of the Northeast. 

Yes, there does technically need to be a confirmation hearing.  I don't think the confirmation hearing needs to take a bill slot if the Assembly has more pressing matters.
